Bobby Gene Biggs

Bobby Gene Biggs, 85, of Nederland, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Lake Arthur Place in Port Arthur. Bobby was born on January 24, 1932 in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Herschel Biggs and Mildred Irene Weatherford Biggs. He retired from the Department of Defense with the U.S. Government.
Bobby is survived by his daughters, Deborah Nesbitt and husband, Kirk of Nederland, Janet Biggs of LaFayette, Colorado and Susan Corrado and husband, Patrick of Annapolis, Maryland; nine grandchildren, Shannon Haney, Alyssa Metcalf, Keri Metcalf Todd, Jordan Carter, Micah Carter, Vincent Corrado, Anthony Corrado, Cole Nesbitt and Callie Nesbitt and one great-grandchild, Arriya Haney; sister, Faye Eaton of California. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Suzue Ogawa Biggs and sister, Elizabeth Hazelitt.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, TX.
