Dora Carol LaGrone

Dora Carol “Paso” LaGrone, 57, of Groves, died Friday, April 3, 2015 at Bay Shore Medical Center in Pasadena, TX. Dora was born November 28, 1957 in Groves to Billy Lynch Sr. and the late Wanda Brooker. Paso was a waitress the majority of her lifetime.
Paso was a very special woman, she always put everyone first before herself. She was a people-person and loved everyone, especially her family and friends. Paso loved the Lord and prayed daily, whether it be for herself or anyone around her. She cherished the small things in life because she knew that life is too short to sweat the small stuff. Paso loved classic Rock ‘n Roll, angels, cereal and milk, candy, dancing, and her dogs. Her number one dog was Fluffy. Paso was a girly girl, with an abundance of makeup and clothes, but she also enjoyed the thrill of a Harley Davidson. She had the brightest smile and a heart of gold, Paso will truly be missed and loved by all who knew her.
Paso is survived by her husband, Jim LaGrone of Groves; her father, Billy Lynch of Groves; her 3 sisters, Mary Hudson of Port Arthur, Diana Lynch of Groves, and Loretta Lynch of Port Arthur; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, April 7, 2015 at the funeral home.
Serving as Pallbearers for Paso will be Morris Lynch, Jack Lynch, Delwood Fontenot, Raymond Broussard, Alfonso Sosa, and Delbert Bowen.
