Hazel Marie Moore

Hazel Marie Moore, 93, of Nederland, TX passed away November 1, 2011 at Summer Place Nursing Rehab in Beaumont. She was born February 9, 1918 in Opelousas, LA to the late Ulyse and Modeste Boudreaux Sonnier. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Msgr. Dan Malain celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland Thursday, November 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.Hazel is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Loy Moore. She is survived by her daughter Denise Murrell of Nederland granddaughter, Erica Duncan and honorary granddaughter, Leah Sims 3 greatgrandchildren, Ashtyn Duncan, Kaden Duncan, and Addison Sims.The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Summer Place Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice for the care given to their loved one.
