John Michael Castillo, 28 of Nederland, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at
St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. John was born in Port Arthur, Texas on
May 14, 1988.
Surviving John are his mother, Carolina Castillo; father, Chris Hulgan, Jr.; step-father, David Reckaway; brothers, Justin Andrew Castillo, David Wayne Reckaway, Noah Raymond Hulgan and Jonah Hulgan; sisters, Tracey Lynn Castillo, Willamina Josephine Hulgan, Savana Diotima Hulgan and his grandfather, Juan M. Castillo, Jr.
John is preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Dwayne Stewts, III; grandmother, Maria Elydia Castillo and his great-grandmother, Patricia Bienvenu.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 8:00a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland.
