Karylen Cathey, 73, of Beaumont passed away on January 12, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. She was born on September 9, 1939 in Duffau, Texas to Hershell Head and Mildred Burgan. Karylen retired as a Registered Nurse and served her country proudly in the U.S. Army.Karylen is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her cousin, Kathy Sauceda of Nederland.A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
