Arlie E. Allison, 85, of Nederland, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at his home in Nederland. Arlie was born May 7, 1933 in Rochester, Texas to the late Emmit A. Allison and Carlie C. Chandler Allison. Arlie was retired as a Pipefitter with the Pipe Fitter Local 195 in Nederland. He also served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Arlie is survived by his daughters, Patty Patrick and her husband Bobby of Kingwood, and Debbie Stoker of LaPorte; his son, Dean Allison and his wife Lori of Port Neches; one brother, Elvis Allison and his wife LaJuan of Humble; his four grandchildren, Ryan Edwards, Kelly Buckner, Ashley Diaz, and Allison Cooper; three great grandchildren, Joshua Edwards, Aidan Friend, and Avery Buckner. He was preceded in death by his parents. Also his beloved wife, Wanda Rose Allison, and his four brothers, Elton Allison, Norris Allison, Audie Allison, and Lynnis Allison.
A gathering of Arlie’s family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. Interment with Military graveside services will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
