Clenton A. Ronquille

Clenton A. Ronquille, Sr., 96, of Port Acres, Texas., passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Groves, Texas. Clenton was born on August 7, 1921 in Port Arthur, TX., to the late, Paul Ronquille and Mary Helen Ronquille.

Clenton proudly served in the U.S. Army and was employed with Texaco Chemical. He also enjoyed fishing and was a dedicated parishioner of Little Flower Catholic Church in Port Acres. .

Clenton is survived by his son, Royce W. Ronquille, Sr. and Royce's late wife, Colleen of Port Arthur, TX; Raymond D. Ronquille and wife, Debbie of Elk, WA.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Iris Nathalie Pettit; daughter, Cynthia A. Theriot, and his son, Clenton A. Ronquille, Jr.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on, Tuesday, January 16, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home, Nederland, TX. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church in Port Acres, TX. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches, TX.
