Crystal Hope Pilcher

Crystal Hope Pilcher, 53, of Pine Forest, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Crystal was born in Port Arthur on March 15, 1965 to Donald Lee Morrison and Barbara Wilbanks Morrison. She was a homemaker and loved to substitute teach. She also worked as a teacher’s aide. She graduated from Port Neches Groves High School in 1983 and had two years of college.
Crystal is survived by her husband of 31 years, Bruce of Pine Forest; her parents, Don and Barbara Morrison of Nederland; her daughter, Jessica Pilcher of Pine Forest; her son, Joshua Allen Pilcher of Pine Forest; her sister, Misti Michelle Bishop of Nederland; her brother, Donovan Heath Morrison of Nederland; her grandchildren Alexys Hope Steel and Trevor Allen, her niece and nephew, Blair Donnielle Bishop, and Blake Bryan Bishop; and her mother-in-law, Joan E. Pilcher.
A gathering of Crystal’s family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 with the memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
