David Wayne "Big" Arnaud

David Wayne “Big” Arnaud, 69, of Port Acres passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. David was born September 18, 1950 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Leslie and Grace Arnaud. He was the drummer for High Street Band and president of Little League Baseball for many years. He retired after 39 years of service with Gulf Oil/Chevron. David was a member of St. Therese of Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and also a member of OCAW.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie P. Arnaud and Grace Welch Arnaud; his daughter, Rachel Renee Arnaud; and sisters, Cheryl Fontenot and Sonja Stelly. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 51 years, Shelby Arnaud of Port Acres, TX; sons, Mark Arnaud and Matthew Arnaud of Port Acres, TX; daughter, Sara Arnaud Marroquin and her husband, Jose of Elgin, TX; 4 grandchildren, Angelica “Gellie”, Simone, Trey and Chason; 1 great grandchild, Axil; brother, L.P. Arnaud, Jr. of Port Neches, TX; sister, Gloria Arnaud of Port Arthur, TX and a host of friends and relatives.
