    February 22, 1952 - February 8, 2022

    Diana Allen, 69, of La Belle, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She was born on February 22, 1952 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Roy Bordes and Violet Bordes Toloudis. Diana was a woman that liked to have fun. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially during the holidays, and was the life of every party. Diana enjoyed cooking and researching new recipes to try out during the week. She found great joy in traveling, spending time in the mountains and was a huge fan of the classic Lays potato chips. Diana was a member of the La Belle – Fannett Volunteer Fire Department Lady’s Auxiliary for many year. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Diana’s family always looked to her when in need and she was considered a second mother to all of her nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Those left behind to cherish Diana’s memory are her husband of 38 years, Johnny Allen; daughter, Lindsey Allen Simmons and her boyfriend, James Watford III; son, Matthew Allen and his girlfriend, Cheyenne Roberts; grandson, Hunter Simmons; brothers, Ronald Bordes and his wife, Rachel; brother, Robert Bordes; uncle, Gus Toloudis; mother-in-law, Billie Allen; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Diana is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roy Bordes; Sister, Lena Bordes; and father-in-law, Buford Allen. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service, in Diana's honor, will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Melancon's Funeral Home and will begin at 1:00 p.m. Father Jim McClintock Celebrant. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas.
