Doris Christine Stelly

Doris Christine Hopkins Stelly, 85, of Fannett, TX, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX. Doris was born on January 27, 1932 in Port Arthur, TX, to the late Oliver Wadsworth Hopkins and Myrtle Mae Tolliver Hopkins. She was a retired Ind. Carrier for the Beaumont Enterprise.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Judy Burris (Jerry), Audra Bennett (Jeff) and Lucy Choate Ginaldi all of Fannett, TX; sons, Jim Choate (Danny), David Stelly and Brian Stelly all of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Gia, Jay, Jenna and Wyatt; great-grandchild, Jaycie. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Stelly and grandson, Marco.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home, located at 1605 Avenue H in Nederland, TX. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with Walton Weaver, officiating and the burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, TX.
