Glennda Ruth Park Latiolais

Glennda Ruth Park Latiolais, 75, of Kountze, Texas passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family. Glennda was born September 5, 1946 in Port Arthur, Texas to Ruth and Glenn Park.
Glennda had an unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She believed in forgiveness and holding your head up high through life’s journey. Glennda was sweet, kind, caring and always there to help others. She was passionate about music and loved singing. Glennda was in a quartet and a member of the Sweet Adelines chorus. Glennda made and decorated the most beautiful cakes. She absolutely loved the snow and making snowballs. Glennda collected Hummels and had many purchased directly from the original Goebel factory in Rodental, Germany. She loved gardening and her hometown of Nederland, Texas.
Glennda is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Bell Yeakel Park and Glenn Smeltzer Park.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Stephanie Sterling and her husband, Clint of Belton, TX; and Erica Nerbonne and her husband, Paul of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Tessa Buck, Caleb Sterling, Cain Straszewski and Aleena Straszewski; great grandchild, Charlotte Buck.
The family of Ms. Glennda will receive family and friends Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
