Joe Licatino

Joe Licatino, 67, of Port Acres passed away. Saturday July 31, 2021 at his resident. Joe was born May 27, 1954 in Port Arthur to Donald D. Licatino and Ruth Ledet Licatino. Joe was a musician and played with some of the finest people such as Willie Nelson, George Jones, Connie Cato, Neil McCoy, Charlie Pride, Edgar and Johnny Winters, Trish Yearwood, Jerry LaCroix, Leon Russell, Bobbie Kimball, GG Shinn, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top and Mark Chesnutt to name a few. He not only played music he was also a great cook.
Joe is survived by his mother, Ruth Licatino; his sisters, Tina Licatino of Labelle and Patsy Byers and her husband Bruce of Colmesneil; his brothers, Donny Licatino Jr. and his wife Pam of Port Acres and Roy Licatino and his wife Jeanne of Port Neches.
A memorial service in Joe’s honor will be planned at a later date.
