John "Ben" Benjamin Broadway

John “Ben” Benjamin Broadway, 39, of Nederland, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 in Burkeville, Texas. Ben was born January 6, 1981 in Port Arthur, Texas to John “Stan” Stanton Broadway and Susanne Lynn Hollier. Ben was in scouts for 16 years and loved everything about the outdoors. He spent his years working in construction with his father and his father’s closest friends. His personality was wild and carefree. Ben loved everyone he met and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Ben was preceded in death by his father, John “Stan” Stanton Broadway.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Ethan Broadway and Vance Broadway of Wyoming; mother, Susanne Lynn Broadway of Nederland, TX; sister, Chelsea Broadway and her wife, Jamie of Alvin, TX; brothers, Mason Broadway of Nederland, TX; Chad Ellis of Groves, TX; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; girlfriend, Bertie Townsend of Toledo Bend; and life-long best friends, Stephanie Brooks and Adam Vance.
