Joseph Allen Borne

Joseph Allen Borne, 67, of Groves passed away Friday, February 28, 2020. Joseph was born January 10, 1953 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late John A. Borne Jr. and Romanell Pitre.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jenny Reese and her husband Andrew of Houston; his son, Jason Borne and his wife Rachel of Nederland; the mother of his children, Karen Borne; his brothers, Norman Borne and his wife Sandy of Groves, and Thad Borne and his wife Wanda of Groves; and his grandchildren, Miller Reese, Lucy Borne, and Memphis Breaux. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Judge John Borne; and his sister, Sylvia Borne Hebert. The family would also wish to extend a special thank you to his caretakers, Leah Coburn, the wonderful ladies at the Heritage House, and the care team at Kindred Hospice.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday January 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas. A memorial service for Mr. Borne will be held directly following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Ivan Watson officiant.
