    Kenneth Dale Dillon, Sr.

    September 6, 1945 - May 13, 2022

Kenneth Dale Dillon, Sr., 76, of Port Neches, Texas passed away at his home on Friday, May 13, 2022. Dale was born on September 6, 1945, in Silsbee, Texas to the late Curtis Jackson Dillon and Minnie Lee Burns Dillon. After graduating from Silsbee High School, class of 1964, Dale went to work for a local glass company. After a short period of time, he hired on with Jefferson Chemical, more recently known as Huntsman, where he retired in 2002. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching MeTV and was an avid reader. He loved keeping up with local athletes that moved on to college and professional sports. He loved cars (Mustangs, Corvettes, Convertibles and Classic’s), Motorcycles and Boats too. Dale enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts…70’s tunes mostly. He also loved sports, especially the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys (their #1 Fan). When Dale’s daughters were young, he was coaxed into coaching their softball team, and he ended up loving every minute of their time spent together. Dale was a kind-hearted man that would give anything to a stranger in need. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and always kept a special place in his heart for his dogs, Stormy and Louie. Dale will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Those left to cherish Dale’s memory are his daughter, Dana Archibald and her husband, Tony of Beaumont, Texas, DeeAnn Phipps and her husband, Craig of Richmond, Texas; grandchildren, Terri lee Hays and her husband, Laren, Kylee Dillon, Kaitlyn Dillon, MaKenna Sanders and her husband, Matt, Dillon Phipps, Drew Phipps, Baylor Dillon; great-grandchildren, Rhett Hays, Mack Hays, Julian Dillon, Annalise Sanders and Adeline Sanders; sisters, Bess Vincent, Margo Luhrs; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and son, Kenneth Dale Dillon, Jr. A service to honor the life of Kenneth Dale Dillon, Sr. will be held at a later date.
