Laura Mendoza Ayala

Laura Mendoza Ayala, 69, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Laura was born in Jalisco, Mexico on May 3, 1951 to Alejandro Ayala and Consuelo Mendoza. She was a devout catholic and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Laura is preceded in death by her parents, Alejandro Ayala and Consuelo Mendoza; and sister, Maria Luisa Ayala.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Juan Torres Figueroa; children, Maria Oseguera (Ramiro), Juan Torres (Maria), Alejandro Torres (Josefina Ayala), Ruben Torres (Maria Luisa Gutierrez), Sophia Torres (Jose Armando Sandoval), Rene Torres (Alondra Guadalupe Lopez), Mariana Torres (Juan Luis Nunez), Eduardo Torres (Maria Candelaria Lopez), Beatriz Torres (Hector Nunez), Virginia Torres (Oscar Lopez), Esmeralda Torres (Jesus Sandoval); and numerous, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Laura is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Jose Ayala, Gabrielle Ayala, Rosendo Ayala, Rosario Ayala, Jesus Ayala, Cuca Ayala, Lilia Ayala, Alejandro Ayala and Gilberto Ayala.
