Mike "Mustang" Whitman

Mike “Mustang” Whitman, 62 of Nederland, passed away on January 4, 2016 at his residence. Mike was born on July 30, 1953 in Camp Polk, LA to the late Herbert Allen Whitman and Gilda Marie (Doucet) Whitman. Mike is survived by his daughter Teneka Cook and her husband Matt of Kingwood, Texas; his sisters, Kathy Collins and her husband Danny of Seguin, Texas, Loretta Cessac and her husband Russell of Nederland and Janet Fawvor and her husband Leonard Foux of Port Acres, Texas; Granddaughters, Andrea and Savanna Cook of Kingwood, Texas and a host of Nieces and one Nephew.

A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 with a visitation from 4:00p.m. until time of service at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas.
