Norma Jean Hoffpauir

Norma Jean Carrier Hoffpauir, 84, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, August 30, 2021, at The Cascades at Port Arthur. Norma was born August 24, 1937 to Alfred and Hazel Carrier. Norma’s passion in life was caring for the elderly. She retired from the medical field after 30 years of service as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. Norma enjoyed bowling and going to garage sales. She had a love for Elvis music and her family.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred G. Carrier and Hazel M. Hebert Carrier; her sons, Ricky Wales, James Wales, Jr, and Robert Wales.
Those left behind to cherish Norma’s memory are her daughter, Patricia Baker; grandchildren, Misty Wilcox, Jessica Atkinson, Jamie Temple, Robin Baker, Brandon Wales, Stacey Baker, Brittany Wales, Meagan Wales, and Justin Wales; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Soares and Geraldine Welch.
Norma’s wishes were to be cremated and a private burial will be held at a later date.
