Rebecca Roland, 70, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at Bonne Vie Nursing Home. Rebecca was born December 18, 1949 in CD-Valles-SLP, Mexico to the late Juan and Consuelo Chavez. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Rebecca was passionate about her grandchildren, she was always happy and was a hard-worker. She enjoyed taking care of others and spending time with her family.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Chavez and Consuelo Reyes; son, Francisco Chavez, brothers, Juan Chavez and Vicente Chavez, and sister, Celia Chavez.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Juan Chavez and his wife, Ana of Port Arthur, TX; Fernando Chavez and his wife Erika of Port Arthur, TX; 10 grandchildren; brother, Joel Chavez and his wife, Guadalupe; sister, Consuelo Ceja and her husband, Rafael; numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Coronavirus-19 a Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
