    Sandra Jean Burch

    July 2, 1949 - September 10, 2021

Sandra Jean Burch was born in Provo, Utah on July 2, 1949 to William and Leone Beus (nee Blood). She passed away on September 10, 2021 in Port Arthur, Texas. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Don Beus and Spencer Beus, and loving dog of 14 years Tinkr. She is survived by her husband of 28 years Jerry Johnson, daughters Annette (Kimberly) Schaub, Charlene Carroll, Amanda Harley Quinn, Susan Burch, son Dustin Burch, granddaughters Alexis Simmons, Alyssa Osborne, Trista Hussey, Jaelyn Marvey, and grandson Brantly Smith. Also surviving are her sister Terry Conklin, brothers Gary and Kent Beus and numerous nieces and nephews. Known affectionately as Sandy, she traveled extensively as a child with her parents, passing on her memories and experiences to children and grandchildren. Sandy is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and friend. Alexis and Alissa were raised by their grandmother from infanthood to womanhood, forming an unbreakable bond of love and respect. They will miss her loving guidance and fierce, unwavering dedication to their well being. Her kind and gentle nature endeared her to all around her and allowed her to make friends easily wherever she went. She found great joy in laughing with her husband, visiting museums, flea markets, exploring historical sites, cooking great food for her family, and watching the sunsets on Panama City Beach. Sandy made memories more memorable, being fun, funny, humble and spiritual. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
