Susan Pritchard Silmon

Susan Pritchard Silmon, 62, of Nederland, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020. Susan was born October 8, 1957, in Beaumont, Texas to Frankie Jean DeLage and John Weaver Pritchard. Susan was a 1975 graduate of Nederland High School. She was passionate about her children and grandchildren, of which she gave freely. Susan was a loving and kind person with a huge heart. She had true compassion for animals.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her children, Matthew Silmon and his wife, Lisa and son, Benjamin of Humble, TX; Timothy Silmon, of Houston, TX; and Joy Holt and her husband, Steve and daughter, Violet and a son on the way, Henry John Holt of Cypress, TX; sister, Jamie Cryer and her husband, Keith of Silsbee, TX; Jacqui James and children of Nederland, TX; niece, Amber Morse and children of Groves, TX; companion, Mark Sawyer, Sr. of Onalaska.
A gathering of friends and relatives will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Melancon’s Funeral Home.
