    Vicki L. Hall

    October 4, 1950 - July 2, 2020

    Vicki L. Hall, 69, of Bridge City, Texas passed away July 2, 2020. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 4, 1950 to the late Edgar Lee Townsen Sr. and Marie Lockard Townsen. Vicki and her husband owned the Frank Hall Trucking Service. She was an avid gardener and loved her friends. Vicki was a long time member of Life Church in Port Arthur and more recently of Well of Hope Christian Fellowship Church in Bridge City. She was a woman of God and she truly loved Jesus Christ. Vicki was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family dearly, and she was sincerely a selfless person. Vicki always put others before herself and will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Those left to cherish Vicki’s memory are her husband of 42 years, Frank Hall of Bridge City; her daughter, Shalene Wells and her husband Lamar of Orange; her grandsons, Ryan Humphrey of Orange and Brandon Humphrey and his wife Aspen of Groves; her sister Sandy Tarpley of Dallas; her brother, Edgar Townsen Jr. and wife Barbara Dee of Mont Belvieu; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son Jessie Samuel Hall; and her daughter Carrie Marie Hall. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m., Pastor Rudy Elizondo officiant. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jessica Thomas for all the love and care she has given to Vicki over the years.
