    William Francis Fredeman, Jr.

    June 2, 1937 - April 24, 2022

    William Francis Fredeman, Jr., 84, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at his residence in Nederland with his loving family by his side. William was born on June 2, 1937, in Houston, Texas to Sydalise Thompson Fredeman and William Francis Fredeman, Sr. He attended SMU in Dallas where he got his Bachelor’s degree and was the owner of Port Arthur Towing and a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches where he served as Head Usher. Bill really loved his family, his church, and his friends. He would hardly ever miss a church activity and the funeral of a church member. Bill was beloved by all especially his family and friends. Bill is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Karen Clayton Fredeman of Nederland; children, William Fredeman and his wife Margo of Beaumont; Kenneth Fredeman and his wife Morgan of Beaumont, Stephen Fredeman of Port Arthur and Bradley Fredeman of Frisco, Texas; sister, Mary Carmen Crain and her husband Stanley of Haworth, New Jersey; grandchildren, Drake Fredeman, Harrison Fredeman, Ava Fredeman and Ana Fredeman; niece, Julia Fredeman Collins and her husband Troy of Lumberton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jim and Ruth Parker of Nederland, and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding in death were his parents Captain and Sydalise Fredeman; sister, Sissie Villaume and brother, Henry Fredeman. Private family graveside services were held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas. Arrangements were under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland.
